THE MCH FOUNDATION PRESIDENT’S CABINET MAde A DIFFERENCE with “BAKE A DIFFERENCE”

Our very own President’s Cabinet is a group of volunteer community leaders who have come together to help raise funds and awareness for Miami Children’s. As parents and grandparents, we are often faced with the challenge of instilling in our children the value of philanthropy and teaching them how important it is to help those who need us. As a response, the President’s Cabinet decided to make a difference by launching Bake a Difference.

On November 22, they held their first inaugural Bake a Difference. More than 50 bake stands from Boca Raton to Homestead gave away baked goods in exchange for a donation to Miami Children’s Hospital.  This community initiative raised more than $28,000 to benefit MCH and its Comprehensive Epilepsy Program.

Supporters registered to host a stand through our website and selected a location. MCH Foundation provided them with t-shirts for the group, and everyone in the community came together for the cause. At the end of the day, participants met us at the hospital’s main campus for a celebration and turned in their donations. These contributions helped support Together For The children, The Campaign For Miami Children’s Hospital.
