3rd Annual Priyanka Cup to Benefit MCH Foundation
Karim Alibhai, founder and principal of Gencom Group, has announced that Gencom Group and Cliff Drysdale Tennis will once again partner to present the third annual Priyanka Cup tennis tournament and festivities for the weekend of October 24th - 26th, 2008. The Priyanka Cup has raised a total of $800,000 in previous years, and this year the event will benefit Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation.

"Hugs & Kisses Family Fun Day" Surpasses Goal
Miami Children's Hospital Foundation’s Hugs & Kisses Committee recently held a Family Fun Day in the Courtyard of the Village of Merrick Park. The event featured a children’s fashion show with the latest trends from Astoria, Burberry, Benetton, Lacoste, Janie & Jack, Bogner & Piccolini and Juicy. A buffet brunch was also held and attended by more than 350.

MCHF "I Make a Difference" Awards
Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Hugs & Kisses Co-Chair Norma Quintero is to be credited with the creation of the Foundation’s “I Make a Difference” concept as a way to celebrate philanthropy in our youth as well as to showcase them for others to emulate. The first annual award ceremony, where eight exemplary students will be honored, will take place on Sunday, March 2nd, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the Village of Merrick Park’s courtyard.
