Juan Carlos and Vivian Mas, co-chairs of the Diamond Ball & Concert recently hosted a kick-off reception at their private residence to unveil the location and details of the major annual fall fundraiser that benefits the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation. Before a crowd of approximately 200 of South Florida’s elite power brokers and philanthropists, the Mas’s announced the second annual private gala will be held at the American Airlines Arena. The star-studded event is being arranged by Grammy and Country Music Awards Supervising Producer Tzvi Small and BET Awards Producer Ron Weisner, and will feature performances and appearances by well-known artists to be announced at a later date. All proceeds of the event will benefit Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, which raises funds and awareness for Miami Children's Hospital, its programs and projects.
The kick-off party featured a special performance by 7-year-old piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick, who has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Oprah Winfrey Show, among many other national programs. The event was catered by Thierry’s Catering and received special support from Alan M. Fisher, P.A., Premier Beverage and Fiji Water. Diamond House donated diamond raffle items.
