| Rhonda Vincent and the Rage treated the nearly 300 guests at the Bluegrass in the Tropics Concert Sunday night. The event was hosted by the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at the Miami Children's Hospital’s Brain Institute at Fairchild Tropical Gardens. Over $50,000 were garnered by the event and will help the Epilepsy Program in the fight against childhood epilepsy.
“It was a fantastic evening and Rhonda and the Rage put on a great show,” said Harold Robaina, Miami Children's Hospital Foundation’s Director of Major & Corporate Gifts. “Dr. Michael Duchowny , (Director, Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Miami Children's Hospital), even had the chance to show his banjo skills on stage as he played along with Rhonda, he was very impressive on that banjo.”
The dream is not just to stop seizures in children, but to prevent them before they even begin. The support received will go to help make this happen.
