Gift and Toy Donations
Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation (MCHF) greatly appreciates your generous interest in donating gifts and toys for the young patients of Miami Children's Hospital (MCH). Medical care is really only one aspect of a child’s recovery and all kids love toys! Your donation of toys and other gifts help make the children’s hospital stay more enjoyable. There are several ways in which you can help us improve the hospital experience for our young patients and their families.
The 2007 Annual MCH Employee Campaign raised enough funds to buy special DVD players for each and every in-patient room in the Hospital so the gift of DVDs are always welcome as our patients can never see Nemo enough times.

Holiday Food Baskets
Increased medical expenses and long hours at Miami Children's Hospital (MCH) can sometimes make it difficult for some of our patients and families to maintain holiday traditions and celebrate special occasions. Thanks to our concerned and generous donors, we are able to provide Holiday Food Baskets throughout the year to those in need. Ashley’s Closet
Miami Children's Hospital Foundation (MCHF) and Miami Children's Hospital (MCH) maintain 27 furnished apartments for those families who have children in the hospital for extended periods of time. Statistics have shown that children have a quicker recovery time if their family is involved and close-by. So for those who need housing while attending to an ill child, Devonshire Apartments can offer some respite to parents and other family members. MCHF’s Community Council spearheads the accumulation of supplies for Ashley’s Closet and they are always in need of travel size toiletries and personal care items for parents who are staying in our apartments such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouth wash, etc. If you travel or have some of these small size items and would like to donate them, you can either drop them off at the Foundation or you can send them to:
